I’m sure you guys are just like me electric nail file training courses near me, you need a pedicure and we’ve got to do it ourselves here’s my before with a few Pro tips, we can turn them into these it was either my foot or caravans, and it was just easier for me to put mine on the table in him to continue filming let’s get started normally pedicures are done in the chair with your feet more on the ground but it’s harder to show you guys that way because I’m not really set up for that, so I thought I’m gonna get my foot on the table and I’ll show you how we do it in the salon, so professional pedicure is just like a manicure really we’re just doing it on feet but there’s a few things you want to know to make sure you get the best wear ability out of it, your fingernails will need to be done sooner than your toes because toes grow so much slower, so here I am about a six week grow out for gel, I’ve got to get the gel off you guys electric nail file with vacuum.In the same boat, it’s nail polish, you can just rub it off, but if it’s gel polish you ‘ve got to file it off so there’s two ways you can go about it a really good file or a drill or three ways you could soak it off and you could do that, if you have acetone, but you might not have any acetone, so if you’ve got a really good course file you want to be able to do this differently make sure Cameron can see zuck camera shot, okay great so what we wanna do is get the gel polish off but we don’t want to be filing our natural nails when you’re filing make sure that you’re just hitting the gel that’s really important, you don’t want to file down the natural nail, this can be kind of tedious and boring, you do want to get it off, I’m gonna change the color to so I want to get off now there’s all sorts of stages of pedicure, some people might just going to have their toe color changed, or you might get a full petty.Here, or you might get a deluxe pedicure, so I’m going to change the toe color and do a regular pedicure, so at this stage right now, if you had acetone you could soak up a video on it, soak a pad of little lamb, you know one of these pads with acetone set it on there wrapping tinfoil and wait about ten minutes or so, and that would help flake it off I tend to not do that I just file it just comes off much quicker in my opinion, but you do want to buff up the surface layer before you start to soak so right now you can see, it’s almost off, I mean it’s it’s coming off pretty quick, just remember you’re just filing off the gel you’re not filing the natural nail now it’s not super long but I am going to shorten it a little, you can take some nippers and nip them this way, if you like sometimes it comes off more in chunks, um, if I have a lot of toenail on there then I will do that, but I don’t really keep them that long, so they’re never really that long, and then I. You know, the to the length that you want it, can I put my glasses on now I need to see the finer detail, OK.So now I need to remove the dust, it’s hard to see, but you can see that most of the gel has come off here and now it’s still on here, so now I’ve got to get a little bit more detailed a little bit more specific into that little spot, those can be a little bit hard to get off, sometimes it’s really just where you place the file and it is easier with a drill, if you have one an e file.Just be careful, you don’t file the natural nail if you do hit the natural nail don’t panic, it’s just you just don’t want to file the national too much, because you can thin it out and you just don’t need to do that I’m still just working on the gel here almost got it all off, so when we do professional manicures in my salon, what we do is we actually change out the jail polish first and the reason is if you’re going to do a pedicure, you’re gonna soak your feet in there in the water, if you’re going to do all the exfoliation and then the lotion you’ve got all on the toenail, now you can take it off with acetone, but sometimes we find it’s better to do the gel polish first and then do all the lotion moisture stuff after and it won’t affect the adhesion of the gel polish.Okay I think I’ve got it there’s a good crap, not yet amazing, isn’t it I’m surprised you’re pretty flexible well for an old lady, thank goodness, so I can do this right OK, so now now that we’re doing all the dry stuff, we’ve got all the gel off and I don’t make it too short, because sometimes it can be a little sore, if you make it too short I’m a total barefoot person I if I am out I wont wear shoes but I’ve been known to leave the house grab my keys grab my bag and go to the car and like oh I forgot my shoes, that’s how much I don’t like to wear shoes, so when we have that sometimes we have rough calluses on our feet and they get kind of dry that also bugs me as much as I’m a lotion freak from my hands I lotion, my feet all the time too, so that’s when one of these can come in handy it’s not something you have to use but if you want to be able to do this and just send it out a little bit it’s really a great idea, really.Make defeat a lot smoother so we do this of course for professional pedicure, especially in this area, the heel area, but I will tell you the number one trick with this, you guys don’t take off too much, even though you might have a big callous spot, there’s reason for that because you’re stepping on it constantly, and it needs that callous, if you remove it completely your feet are going to be very vulnerable, it’s gonna be all new skin and it’s gonna hurt so don’t take off too much ghee, this will gross you out, can’t remember in the old days we used to have these things, these slicer’s we used to slice off of people’s feet and take cheese off yeah yeah dangerous yeah they abandon them, so if you’re going to a place they’re still using though they are effective but they’re really not the way to go you don’t want to do that, so do it this way, yeah well that’s the thing you guys if you are working on someone older in your home or if they have diabetes, any type of medical condition can make a difference when you’re doing the feet, you really should know what you’re doing as far as pedicures where you’re going.To that aspect of pedicure, so this is just a beauty pedicure, we’re just gonna we’re just light and fluffy, no medical nothing behind this in a medical sense, this is all just to make it look beautiful, so I will take the heel and I will go under there like that and it’s really gross I know but it feels so much better when you do especially these are you know getting them ready for summer, now if you are on the sand walking around all the time that’s going to help exfoliate these feet, but I haven’t been much to the beach lately, so I will do this and usually these files will come with the coarser side and a smoother side so the other side still of course but it’s smoother than the other side, so use the coarse one first, and then smooth it out a little bit okay so mine aren’t too bad because I usually keep up on them pretty good, now you can just take this gross I’m sorry I don’t mean to gross anybody out usually everything I do is pretty but we’re trying to get to.This is what it takes, sometimes I would take that and I’ll just wash it, scrub it, you soap you can use alcohol disinfect it and clean it all up especially if you’re using it yourself, no not that big of a deal, but if you’re using it as a professional for somebody else, you gotta make sure you use the right cleaning to get that properly disinfected okay, so now I’m just gonna do one toe, so I don’t lose the feeling in my leg entirely before this is over, I’ve got a little collection of different items, I’m using these I bought from Amazon most of the things I’m using here are from Amazon and of course my files, we can file them off and cocoa and Claire for the gel color, so what I did get from Amazon is this guy here and so after I have you know sanded the feet and taken the the length down, take the gel polish off and now I want to push back the cuticle now recently I did a video on caravan I did a manicure on cameraman when I pushed back his cubicle, he didn’t really have a ton of cuticle that sometimes you’ll see if you haven’t had a manicure in a long time he had won in forty years well ever right.Ever known ever so he didn’t really have a ton of cuticle and doesn’t even push him back or anything so that’s good, but this toe here hasn’t had any attention like a say for almost two months now, so when I push it back and because it’s a toe it gets a lot more abuse you’re going to see a little bit more cuticle than I can scrape off of the natural nail and so you can see, let’s gross. See all that kind of man I do grossing you out I got the close camera here and saying hey people.It’s like workshop, usually my videos are pretty and we do pretty things, but sometimes you just gotta do some you know dirty work here, you just gotta get this done, this is what happens, this is a real-life pedicure.And we just want to take away all that stuff and you can clean under the nail you go under there and clean them all up.Now some of you may have like I don’t experience this but I’ve had some family members that experience.In grown toenails where the nail here grows inward like I don’t know a lot about that kind of thing because I don’t have that problem in the salon, we just cut straight across we don’t cut them back or down into and don’t start it apparently it’s not a good thing now sometimes around that, oh there are a lot of videos going around showing how you can chip away a lot of skin around that nail but just remember that is protecting your foot like I say it takes a lot of pressure when you’re walking around, and that is to protect you, so if you take away too much of that stuff you might experience some sensitivity down there right your little toes, so just be careful how much you do chop away, it is tempting because you’re looking at it’s like you icky dry skin, get rid of it all, and like I say you can do it but it does open you up to new skin and be much more sensitive, so just be careful about that okay and same with the cuticle, you can nip away any little ickes, but be careful, you don’t want to cut away any live tissue.Okay, so at this point I’m going to take the medium file now or even define one and I want to buff down to the national because I want a little bit of grip to catch on for this gel polish that I’m going to put on there see I’m just gently buffing up the natural nail area that’s been exposed that two months of growth, that’s all brand new now right okay I think I’m happy with that, yeah I mean it’s so much easier to have this done, that’s why we have this service done, but right now we’re not in a position to do it I just want to help you out a little and see if you can just maybe do it yourself until you can get to this studio.K, so I just cleaned that big toe up how did you leave that delivery because you knew her in this video like let it go a long time or you’re well that’s I could be you know trying to be so sophisticated to say yes I did, but no honestly I pretty much leave it like that, in between anyway, cause I just never got around to it that’s not very professional I suppose, but no not every couple of months I start to go to my salon and have one of the girls do a pedicure whoever’s free, I don’t really plan I’m not very organized as far as booking my appointment ahead so so, the other ones I will get to later but I just want to walk you through one right now okay so what I will do right now, then is I will get my bass note, this is prep I’ve cleaned it all up, it’s all ready to go for the gel polish application and I’m going to put my first later with cocoa and Claire is called peck, and then the next one is called base.And when you are using natural nails when you’re putting gel onto natural nails do use a base okay, this is what your product the gel color will stick to when it goes on just do a nice thin layer of base and as you can see like I mentioned I’m doing my polish before I do all the fancy exfoliation and stuff now one thing I like about cocoa and Claire is they have this tiny little light and it really makes it easy when you’re doing stuff like this and I’m just gonna give it a bit of a nuke that’s convenient I know totally convenient I have to say with the big lights nowadays too, they have where you can remove the bottom and the salon we’re working is so handy, you just pop off the bottom because you don’t have to pick the person’s foot up and put it in directly, you just literally pop off the bottom so much easier, so convenient.Okay, good okay, so now I’ve never really could decide what colour but I think I’m going to pick this really nice bright crisp clean blue very, very pretty very summery and that’s what I’m going for okay so it’s you know just putting on jail polished I’ve got lots of videos on that and a lot of you guys know how to do that you could do the polish you could do nail polish instead, if you like but if you’re going to continue the pedicure do the nail polish at the very end after you do all the next things we’re going to do so polish very very last and gel polish, you can do before you do everything else.Now, we’ll say it’s hard to see sometimes when you’re working on your feet because of the angle, it’s really hard to see every little aspect of your toenail, but I will tell you just remember your toes are far away, people are not going to be looking at them this close so if you do make some boo boos it’s not that big a deal because they probably won’t see it anyway, unless you get it all over your skin big jumps, okay hey, so let’s get that little guy, hmm, that’s pretty color I like it, okay, I’m just gonna put my second coat on and keep in mind three coats three thinner coats are always better than two thick ones OK that applies with nail polish as well.And just have a cuticle stick ready if you want to remove anything here you go, that’s good, I mean up close I can see things that are not perfect, but like I say nobody comes up to your feet and cute pedicure and goes right down and has a look at it, you always look at it from a distance right that’s perfect okay, so now I’ve got me shine number five is their top coat and I’m just going to put my top coat on now I’m just doing the one nail so my whole leg doesn’t fall entirely asleep before we finish the video, but for the reveal of pictures of course I’ll do them all I just won’t do it.Table okay, now we give that a good nuke, and then will exfoliate okay so once that’s all cured then I go into my exfoliation now again you don’t have to do this part, if you just want to change your polish you’re pretty much done now but if you want to have a little bit of a pedicure and sort of make your feet feel nice and soft, they don’t get caught on your blankets which drives me crazy, that’s why I always do my feet I get a little bit of exfoliation I got this off of Amazon and I used it in caravans, manicure and you can obviously use it for this too I just want to exfoliate and just get a nice amount on your hand, and you can feel the little bits of apricots or whatever I didn’t really read it to see what else they got in there but you can feel the little bits in there that is going to exfoliate the skin remember we just kind of sanded, all that skin off, so now it’s all kind of loose some of it has fallen off and some of it just because. Hang in there and now we can take away any other dead skin too, so you kind of want to get the whole foot and what you’re doing is not really a massage at this point it feels really nice though, but what you’re doing at this point is literally scraping all the staff members around the toe it look kind of dry and icky that’s all the dead skin and stuff, so you can really kind of just you’re really rubbing it off really is what you’re doing you’re just kind of polishing yeah you’re kind of polishing your skin really so you just want to go even about all your little toes and all that little dry area, it will just take all that dead skin away, this smells really nice too I wish you guys could smell this smells really nice what flavor is it, it is pomegranate seeds and shea butter I was gonna say it smells like fruit, yeah I think the one we used in your video camera.It was a different flavor it’s over there I can’t I wouldn’t call it a flavor taste and smell nice enough because macadamia yeah yeah it was, it was interesting OK, so once you do all that.Now you need to go wash you just have to rinse all this exfoliation stuff away okay, I’m gonna go do that now okay, so now it’s all nice and dried all the dead skin is gone, it looks really so much better now that looks nice and I will get to the other toes remember this is my lotion, OK, so now I’m going to put some nice lotion, hmm I bought this off of Amazon as well and it will have all the links below, but this is lemon grass and green tea, lemon grass is one of my favorite smells.And if you don’t want a real kind of cold shock to the foot, just rub it into your hands a little bit before you put on, so this is the massage cream, this will feel so nice, the dead skin is all removed now instead of putting on a nice lotion on your hands or your skin your feet is so nice, sometimes I’ll do this before bed and so my feet are inside the covers with a nice layer of lotion on it, so it could just sort of soak into the skin all night, it feels really nice, so if you want to get into it, you could pick up a few tips on massage reflects all G I always find quite fascinating kind of cool, so you can just do all sorts of little massage things, if you go to a salon and they do a massage, you can steal their ideas, okay that’s pretty much it there we go nice so it looks like I’m gonna have to learn how to do a little waxing, OK.So here we go, we’ve got some nice toes done now and it feels nice and good, so that’s how you do you I can’t wait to do the other one, let’s check out the review shots because I did do them all for you, so take a look at both feet, you can see a pedicure is basically the same as a manager, it’s just on your feet, maybe you can find somebody in your house that can do it for you, or you can do it yourself there’s some easy ways to do it yourself.
